Adriane Post completed her Bachelor of Music at the Oberlin Conservatory, studying with Marilyn McDonald, and discovering a love of Baroque music during her time there. She received her master's degree from Juilliard's Historical Performance program, as part of the inaugural class, as a student of Monica Huggett and Cynthia Roberts.

Freelancing with Baroque ensembles across the U.S., Adriane is a member of Apollo's Fire Baroque Orchestra in Cleveland, New Trinity Baroque in Atlanta, and Passamezzo Moderno chamber ensemble in Berkeley, CA. Adriane appears regularly on the East Coast with groups such as the Trinity Wall Street Baroque orchestra in New York and the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston, and has appeared with the Arcadia Players, Concert Royal, L'Academie and NYS Baroque among others.

Adriane also freelances on modern violin in New York, is a member of the Knights Orchestra, and has toured with the New York-based Mark Morris Dance Company. In Europe, Adriane has worked with the English group Sprezzatura and British Soprano Evelyn Tubb. Festival engagements have included the Carmel Bach Festival, Magnolia Baroque Festival, and Piccolo Spoleto in the U.S., as well as Vammala Early Music Festival in Finland and the International Handel Festival in Göttingen, Germany. Adriane is originally from Burlington, Vermont.
