Billbob Brown, Associate Professor of Dance at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, received his BFA from Arizona Sate University and Master of Arts from the University of New Mexico. Billbob has created shows for the Utah Shakespearean Festival and choreographed TV work and commercials for the Chicago Cubs, Molson-Canadian Beer, Disney Studios, and ABC-TV. He has toured nationally with the Bill Evans Dance Company, and is co-founder of Desert Dance Theatre in Phoenix and, in Albuquerque, was director of Theatre and Buen Viaje Dancers, a group of people with disabilities. His Emmy-award winning video, "Opening Doors," with Buen Viaje, has been seen on PBS stations across the United States.
He has taught and performed in Japan, England, Switzerland, and throughout Mexico and the U.S. Billbob presently performs with Rebecca Nordstrom as part of Chaos Theory Dance, a video technology-based dance company he directs.
