Kinloch Earle is especially familiar to New England concert audiences as a member both of the period-instrument ensemble, the van Swieten String Quartet, and of the Handel and Haydn orchestra. His solo concerts have taken him to Starosandecki in Poland, to the York Festival in England, and, closer to home, to the Aston Magna Festival. The many chamber ensembles with whom he has performed include the Boston Museum trio.
He holds a bachelor's degree from New England Conservatory, where he studied with Daniel Stepner; his graduate studies were with Sigiswald Kuijken in The Hague and Nikolaus Harnoncourt in Salzburg. Kinloch is a guest member of the faculty at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge.
