Sarasa Ensemble "A Baroque Mosaic"

A Baroque Mosaic is the first CD recorded by the Sarasa Ensemble. The CD is a charming collection of Baroque music. Its crisp and lilting tunes bring to mind dancing Renaissance ladies or an enjoyable evening concert.

Proceeds from the CD support Sarasa's outreach programs. The CD records a Sarasa concert performed in May 2001.

The CD booklet includes the Italian lyrics to the Handel Cantata (with English translation), liner notes and musician biographies.

Performers The performances are by Sarasa musicians:
Emily Van Evera, soprano
Richard Earle, oboe
Sarah Cantor, recorders
Elizabeth Blumenstock, violin
Kinloch Earle, violin
Peggy Spencer, viola
Timothy Merton, violoncello
Maggie Cole, harpsichord
