“My Mother on an Evening in Late Summer”

This setting of the poem "My Mother on an Evening in Late Summer" by Mark Strand was commissioned by the Sarasa Chamber Music Ensemble and premiered May 21, 2016 at Friends Meeting House in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It's an arrangement of the composer's earlier work for voice, oboe and piano, here with the addition of harp and string quartet.
